Crews Battling Overnight Fire in Chowchilla

Crews are battling a house fire on Robertson Blvd off of Avenue 22 1/2 in Chowchilla.

Neighbors report hearing fireworks and lightning before the fire started.

The fire started around 1:30 a.m. Thursday. 

One person was inside the house when the fire started. 

Reports indicate that one firefighter has been injured. 

Crews are being called in from Bass Lake to assist. 

The fire caused damages totaling $ 200,000. 

The cause is undetermined at this time.
