Early Morning Stabbing at Hunter Place Apartments

Fresno Police responded to a call for a stabbing victim Wednesday morning at the Hunter Place Apartments, located on Griffith Way.

When they arrived, police found a male, in his 30s, stabbed in the torso. He was transported to CRMC with life-threatening injuries.

The call came in shortly before 5:00 a.m. 

One witness told police they saw a silver SUV leaving the scene.

Police are looking for at least one person at this time and they are asking for more witnesses to come forward.

Investigators on the scene have not determined whether the incident was gang related.

Authorities expect to be on the scene for several hours.
