Executive action expected on two controversial issues

President Obama will reportedly push ahead with executive action on immigration despite threats from Republicans getting ready to take control of congress.

NBC News reports the president will soon issue orders that protect about five million illegal immigrants from deportation.

Republicans are also looking to use their election day momentum to get the Keystone Pipeline approved. The White House suggests the president could still veto the measure citing environmental concerns.
