Famous Zombie Author, Max Brooks, Talks New Graphic Novel

You know his work from either his best selling books, "The Zombie Survival Guide" and "World War Z," or the blockbuster film starring Brad Pitt, "World War Z."
Zombie-lore expert, Max Brooks, sat down with KSEE24 Sunrise Anchor Carina Corral to talk about his graphic novel, "The Harlem Hellfighters," Will Smith’s interest in bringing it to the big screen, how he unintentionally catapulted zombies into mainstream America, and how his father- comedic genius Mel Brooks- influenced his work.

Brooks appeared on Sunrise ahead of a speaking engagement at Fresno City College where he’ll talk to young writers about zombies, writing in general and over-coming his obstacle of dyslexia to become a famed-writer. He’s scheduled to speak at 11am today, April 14, at the Old Administration Building Auditorium. It’s free and open to the public.
