Firefighter hurt in Early Morning Blaze

A firefighter is recovering after getting hurt while battling a blaze at Maple near California in Southwest Fresno. Crews were called out to an abandoned home around three this morning and found the the home heavily engulfed in flames. Firefighters were able to knock it down quickly, but one firefighter was taken to the hospital for treatment. Officials say he’s expected to be okay.
