Former Fresno Detective sentenced for bribery

A former Fresno Police Detective has been sentenced to two years in prison for bribery.

Derik Kumagai, 41, was also ordered to pay almost $ 14,000 in restitution. Court documents say he took around $ 20,000 back in 2013, in exchange for stopping a marijuana investigation. He was arrested in March of last year.
