Fox Fire (Mariposa County ) Started 6/07/2015, updated 6/08/2015

Concerns for today are areas of unburned grass and brush within the fire perimeter. Conditions caused by 4 years of drought in the area contributed to eratic fire conditions with trees torching and spot fires starting ahead of the main fire around homes. Firefighters continue to work through the day to improve containment in expected 100+ degree temperatures.
