Fresno High student showed up with gunshot wound

Fresno police are looking for a gunman after a student at Fresno High School showed up to school with a gun shot wound.

The unidentified teen was wounded around one o’clock this morning at the intersection of Griffith and Warren. He and his friend were walking on Griffith when a car pulled up. The driver reportedly asked about their gang affiliation. The teens said they were not gang members and that’s when shots were fired.

"Next thing you know, occupants in the car opened fire on them, and the victim got shot in the left food," Lt. Joe Gomez, with the Fresno Police Department, said.

The suspect is described as an African-American man, about 18-years-old and wearing a black beanie.
