Fresno offers swimming lessons this summer

If you’re trying to keep the kiddos cool this summer, but they don’t really know how to swim yet, here’s a great way to take care of both.

Swimming lessons will soon be available for a discount. The City of Fresno is offering up more than 2,000 low cost classes at city pools.

"With the temperatures in Fresno being so warm in the summer it’s so important to have your children be familiar with the water and learn how to swim," Nicole Demera said.

Classes start at airway pools on June 15th and run through August 15th, Monday through Friday.
