Fresno splash parks open for the summer

Splash parks in Fresno opened over the weekend.

‘Reclaimed’ water is used in the parks, not drinking water, because of the drought. The parks offer water features and misters to keep kids and their parents cool.

"Good for the kids to get out and stay cool," Ariana Meshishnek said.

The splash parks are open most days from nine in the morning until eight at night. They’re located at Dickey Playground on Calaveras, Figarden Loop Park on Figarden Drive and Todd Beamer Park on Maple Avenue.
