Giants visit the White House (again)

You might say they’re becoming regular house guests.

The 2014 World Champion San Francisco Giants visited President Obama and the White House today, the third such visit in the past five years.

The team presented the president with gifts, including a signed base and a Giants jersey with the name Obama on the back.

American presidents have a tradition of welcoming sports champions to the White House.

The Giants are currently on an east coast road swing, which made the trip logistically possible.  Friday, they begin a series in Philadelphia.
