Great Western Gospel Music Takes Center Stage in Visalia

The Great Western Gospel Music Fan Festival takes center stage at the Visalia Convention Center this Thursday through Sunday.

One of the headlining performers, Dean Hopper of "The Hoppers," appeared on KSEE24 Sunrise with all the details of the popular event.

Visalia has been host since 2010 to the Festival and is said to be the only production of its kind on the West Coast.

People from all across the US and Canada will listen to the many award winning groups that will gather for this outstanding event. Performers include: Triumphant Quartet, Greater Vision, The Hoppers, Tribute Quartet, The Collingsworth Family, Ernie Hasse & Signature Sound, Liberty, Lillie Knauls, Penny Loafers, and the premiere groups of the West Coast.

 

In addition to nightly concerts, afternoon showcases are held that this year will feature "The Blazing Pianos," "A Star Spangled America," "California’s Best" groups, "Classic Comedy" and the ever popular Talent Contest for future Gospel singers.
