Home of Hope: Poverello House More than a Soup Kitchen

Fresno’s Poverello House is often seen as just a soup kitchen, but it offers so much more. They also run a shelter for abused women, residential treatment home, case management, and more.
Since 2007, Poverello House has received nearly half a million dollars from the Granville Home of  Hope drawing.
A $ 100 dollar ticket gets you in the running for a brand new Granville home. It also benefits ten local charities.
Poverello House Executive Director Cruz Avila was on Sunrise to show us how every dollar counts, including money received from the Granville Home of Hope drawing.
To buy tickets, call (559) 440-8388.
