Homicide investigation in Central Fresno, 1 confirmed dead

Fresno Police and Fresno City College Police are at the scene of a homicide investigation where one person is confirmed dead. 

A black male, said to be in his 40’s, was found in a duplex on Vasser, near Blackstone and Clinton in Central Fresno.

Authorities were called there shortly after 4:00 a.m. this morning for an "accidental stabbing". 

Since responding, crime scene tape has been put up and more officers have been called in to investigate.

Police are currently questioning two women on scene. 

Authorities have not yet been able to locate a murder weapon and have not determined if the homicide was accidental or criminal. 

A camera crew is on scene gathering more information. More updates will be provided as the are made available.
