Juneteenth Night: Grizzlies Pay Tribute to the Negro Leagues

Central Valley residents have a chance to enjoy great baseball, while also helping the Fresno Grizzlies pay tribute to the Negro Leagues during the "Juneteenth Celebration."

Organizers Shikila Joyce and Sigmond Moore were on Sunrise to talk about the historical significance of the Negro Leagues and how the Grizzlies will pay homage to the league. Watch the video for the interview in its entirety. 

"Juneteenth Night" is Friday as the Grizzlies take on the Las Vegas 51’s. Gates open at 6:05pm. First pitch is at 7:05pm.
