Kingsburg Residents Hope To Return Home Soon, As Floodwaters Recede

This past weekend flood water released from Pine Flat Reservoir breached levees on the Kings River near Kingsburg, at the Kings River Golf and Country Club. The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office evacuated residents of around 90 homes in the area, some of which have reportedly sustained flood damage. We spoke with Carrie Monterio with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office about plans for residents to return home, which could happen within the next day.
