Large-scale marijuana grow busted in Tulare

Deputies with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department busted a large-scale marijuana growing operation.

Officials with the Sheriff’s Office say the grow site was in Alpaugh. This morning deputies served a search warrant at the location. The site sits on a 10 acres of land and reportedly had close to 50 greenhouses.

Right now, sheriff’s officials say a number of people are in custody, and the investigation is still ongoing.
