Little Deer (Wildfire)

Fire remained active. Spotting was observed along with single tree torching and short runs of group tree torching associated. Fallout of ash and embers occurred across Highway 97 but no spots were detected. Interior areas continue to smolder and in some areas there may be a potential for re-burn.A Red Flag Warning continues until 8/5/14 0200 AM PDT for thunderstorm activity producing erratic outflow winds and lightning. A Fire Weather Watch is ineffect 1100 to 2300 PDT Tuesday, for additional thunderstorm activity. Moisture and unstable air will cover the fire tonight through Tuesday. Storms in theevening will create erratic outflow winds and lightning but as storms continue overnight and into Tuesday they will produce less lightning and wind and have abetter chance to produce moisture. Humidity recovery will be better tonight than previous nights.
