Live Look at the Ringling Bros. Elephant Conservation Center

Asian elephants have been a symbol of the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus for years. This year, Ringling is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its Elephant Conservation Center in Florida.
This morning, KSEE24 Sunrise Anchors Carina Corral and George Takata talked live with Kenneth Feld, Chairman and CEO of Feld Entertainment, and Elephant Trainer Trudy Williams about the daily routine of the 29 Asian elephants at the 200-acre center, the conservation efforts to save the species and the decision that went in to phasing out the elephants from the circus acts by 2018.

Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus will be coming to Fresno’s Selland Arena July 2-6.
