Local Spelling Champ headed to Scripps National Competition

Porterville’s Sameera Nasseem Hussain is in Maryland, ready to compete for a national spelling bee title.  The sixth grader at Westfield Elementary says she likes to play basketball, and enjoys math and biology.  One day she hopes to become a neurologist.

Good luck Sameera!
