Man Shot Several Times in Central Fresno

Police are investigating a shooting in central Fresno that sent one man to the hospital.

Investigators say the shooting happened near Saginaw and Blackstone just after 9:30 p.m.

Police say the victim had been shot several times and ran to a nearby gas station for help, but that the suspects followed him.

"Once he was at the Shell station, we’re also getting information that the suspects then attempted to relocate him and for unknown… but possibly to continue the shooting," says Fresno Police Lt. Mike Doyle.

The suspects in the shooting are still on the loose. Police are reviewing surveillance video from the gas station and talking to witnesses to figure out who they are. 

Investigators say the shooting may be related to drugs.
