Fresno Police detectives are investigating a murder in Northwest Fresno.<br /><br />Police say it happened at around 5PM Friday, in a residential area near Shaw and Marks. They say a group of six to 11 men arrived at an apartment complex, and approached a man in his 20’s. According to Fresno Police, one of the men in the group then emerged with a gun, and shot the victim several times in the chest.<br /><br />Police say gang members were involved, and Marijuana was found at the scene.<br /><br />"We have seen numerous homicides in this general area," said Lieutenant Mark Doyle with Fresno Police, "We’ve also seen a lot of shooting. As a matter of fact, the Violent Crime Impact Team has also chased many subjects over the past week, and have recovered guns from these individuals. So certain people who live in this particular area and certain groups are gang members and they are carrying weapons."<br /><br />No arrests have been made so far in the case.</div>
