Murder suspect arrested in Fresno

A murder suspect is now in custody. The Fresno County District Attorney’s office filed murder charges against 21-year-old Sebastian Gonzales on Thursday.

On June 14th, officers were called out to a home on Florence, near Chestnut and Church in southeast Fresno.

Officers located Andrew Tristan, a 21-year-old Hispanic male, of Fresno, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Tristan later died from those injuries.

A second shooting victim was taken to the hospital and released.

After interviewing witnesses, detectives learned Gonzales had gotten into a fight with the victim before shooting him.

Gonzales was arrested last week and admitted to the crime before charges were filed.
