We now know the names of the two people killed in that train accident in Fresno county.

It happened yesterday morning on Conejo near Peach Avenue close to Kingsburg. One hundred and seventy-seven people were on board the train, none of them were injured.

The CHP says 29-year-old Nicholas Spurling drove through a railroad crossing guard and hit an oncoming train.

Spurling and his passenger, 47-year-old Michael Reyna were killed. Investigators say Spurling and Reyna were thrown from the vehicle, which exploded into flames. The CHP says they don’t know why the van drove onto the tracks.
