Nelson (Wildfire)

Late afternoon Tuesday June 28, 2016, Plumas National Forest firefighters responded to a small 10 acre fire in a remote part of the forest near Whiskey Hill (T22,R7, S33) by the middle fork of the Feather River. Air tankers held the fire initially but were released as the fire is holding at 10 acres and initial attack resources are on scene. There may be delays on the Hartman Bar Road due to traffic.
