MARIPOSA COUNTY — The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control and shoulder closures next week on State Route 132 (SR-132) and SR-140 for maintenance operations. Work is scheduled as follows:

SR-132 to Penon Blanco Road for tree work beginning Monday, May 19, 2025, through Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
- Jalapa Way to Josephina Way for utility work on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

- Lower Trower Road to Smith Road for slope repair work beginning Sunday, May 18, 2025, through Monday, May 19, 2025, from 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
- Lower Trower Road to Smith Road for slope repair work beginning Monday, May 19, 2025, through Friday, May 23, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
- Bull Creek Road to South Fork Merced River for shoulder work beginning Monday, May 19, 2025, through Tuesday, May 20, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Slate Gulch to Foresta Road for shoulder work beginning Wednesday
Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.
