MARIPOSA COUNTY — The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control next week on State Route 49 (SR-49) and SR-140 for construction and maintenance operations. Work is scheduled as follows:

State Route 49

State Route 49 (SR-49)

• One-way traffic control from Greenley Hill to Penon Blanco Road for tree work beginning, Monday, June 2, through Friday, June 6, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

State Route 140

State Route-140

• One-way traffic control from State Gulch to Foresta Road for shoulder work beginning Monday, June 2, through Friday, June 6, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to take place as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction issues.
