
Several plumes of light showers moved through the fire area last night with rainfall amounts ranging from 0.05-0.15 inches the past 24 hours. The showers diminished during the morning hours allowing temperatures to work into the mid 70s to low 80s Saturday afternoon. The humidity dropped into the upper 20 percent to lower 30 percent range in the afternoon while westerly winds gusted up to 20 mph.
The region will remain under southwesterly flow aloft for the next several days. A few subtle disturbances will be moving through this flow pattern, allowing for periods of light rain showers and potentially a thunderstorm for the next couple of days.
Temperatures are anticipated to remain in the 70s and 80s each afternoon which is around 10 degrees above seasonal averages. Minimum humidity readings will still be dropping to the 20 to 30 percent range each afternoon with good overnight recoveries. Each afternoon westerly winds are expected to develop with gusts ranging from 20 to 30 mph.
