
MARIPOSA — The Mariposa County Arts Council‘s Music on the Green concert series continues with another weekend of performances. After a season opener with Ted Nunes and No Voodoo Here, local music enjoyers can look forward to two more evenings of genre-spanning performances.
Friday: Jerry’s Briefcase
Fans of The Grateful Dead, Iron & Wine, and Ray LaMontange will find this weekend’s performance familiar. On Friday, June 27, Jerry’s Briefcase brings its signature jam band energy to the Art Park stage. Formed by a group of seasoned musicians united by their love of improvisation and Jerry Garcia’s musical legacy, the band offers a blend of nostalgic grooves and fresh interpretations.
Saturday: Jonathon Low-Fi
On Saturday, June 28, the stage will be occupied by Jonathon Lo-Fi, a Central Valley singer-songwriter known for his authentic vocals and bluesy folk guitar stylings. With heartfelt lyrics and a captivating acoustic presence, Low-Fi delivers a performance that resonates with fans of Americana and folk alike.
All concerts begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Mariposa County Art Park, in the heart of downtown. Parking is available on 4th and 5th Streets, with accessible pedestrian entry via the Mariposa Creek Parkway on the lower 5th Street lot. Admission is free, and organizers encourage tipping the performers.
