NORTH FORK — Madera County Officials are celebrating the grand opening of a significantly upgraded Fire Station #11 in North Fork. The station now houses fire services, a Sheriff’s substation, and EMS operations under one roof. This consolidation aims to reduce emergency response times and improve coordination for residents in North Fork, Bass Lake, and Cascadel Woods.
Improving Public Safety
Supervisor Bobby Macaulay, who represents the mountain communities, said the new station reflects the county’s investment in public safety and its commitment to meeting local needs.
“It is just one step towards meeting the expectations of residents throughout the mountain communities of Madera County,” said Macaulay.
He continues, “I am grateful for the partnerships that will allow us to further advance our collective goals around public safety.”
