July 11, 2025 Update: The Rush Fire started ½ mile south of Soldier Bar airstrip and was 30 acres when detected on July 10. Later that evening, a reconnaissance flight found the fire had grown to approximately 100 acres. The airstrip was burned over. Firefighters are on scene at Taylor Ranch implementing point protection measures. On July 11, an infrared flight mapped the fire at 393 acres.
