Continue to cold trail and mop up on the Hwy 46 corridor and adjacent to structures in Old La Sal.

Structure protection groups will continue to use heavy equipment, engines, and crews to conduct
structure assessments and protection. On the east side of the fire, utilize Type 1 crews to continue to construct direct containment line to protect values at risk and prevent spread into more difficult terrain and
fuels.

On the north side of the fire utilize dozers and crews to construct containment line to protect structures
at risk. Aircraft will be used in conjunction with hand crews and heavy equipment, focused on the north and east where the fire is most active.

A plan will be developed with San Juan County for changing the evacuation status and allowing
residents to return.
