

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A man is accused of threatening and taking money from a clerk at the Family Dollar store in Fresno on Sunday, police said.
On July 20, at about 11:35 p.m., a man walked into the Family Dollar Store in Fresno at 5167 East Belmont Avenue.
Police said the man walked up to the register and handed the clerk a note; he also made a verbal threat and gesture that made the clerk believe that he was armed with a firearm.
The clerk handed the man money from the register and he then left the store. He was last seen walking westbound on Belmont Avenue from the Family Dollar store.
