Madera District Fair bans unaccompanied minors after 7 p.m.

MADERA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The Madera District Fair is returning for 2025 with the same attractions and foods, but with a new policy for minors.

Fair officials announced on Tuesday their new Youth Admission Policy: anyone under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian 21 or older to enter after 7 p.m. Fair organizers say the move is to promote a safe, family-friendly environment.

In addition, anyone attending the fair after 7 p.m. must have a valid photo ID to verify their age. Those without a proper ID or unaccompanied minors will be turned away.

Re-entry will also no longer be allowed after 10 p.m. and hand stamps will not be honored.

Organizers say the new policy will be strictly enforced. Anyone wanting more information about the guidelines can visit the Madera District Fair website.
