TULARE, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The Tulare Animal Shelter is cutting its hours.
In a Tuesday post, the city’s police department announced that the Tulare Animal Shelter will have updated office and lobby hours starting this week.
The five-hour cut will give workers an extra hour of lunch.
On Monday, the shelter will now be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, the shelter will be open from 8 a.m. to noon and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The shelter used to be open Mondays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Tuesdays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
These changes only affect the shelter’s office and lobby hours; animal services are still responding to calls for service as usual.
