Clovis Unified debuts Terry P. Bradley Educational Center

CLOVIS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Around 1,000 students are stepping onto a brand-new campus called the Terry P. Bradley Educational Center, which houses Clovis South High School and Phillip V. Sanchez Intermediate.

The Terry P. Bradley Educational Center is the district’s first high school and intermediate school to open since 2007.

Dr. Sonia Torossian is the principal of the new school and says construction on the school began in 2024 and will be completed by the summer of 2028.

Now, Torossian says the staff is eager to welcome their students, grades seventh through ninth.

“I want them to know that they are welcome here. We are going to take great care of them. We have a lot of Longhorn pride already and I can’t wait for them to set the traditions with myself and our staff,” Torossian said.

The center includes a library, health office and administrative offices.

Bernadette Noriega is a parent and excited for her son to start his freshman year.

“I’m very excited and I can’t wait to see what he’s going to do with this new school. He’s going to be the first graduating class,” Noriega said.

Allison Yang is a longhorn leader, a student council group on campus. She looks forward to leading her fellow students to success.

“I’m most excited about seeing the new campus that is newly built. I’m excited to meet the friends and to be a leader on this campus,” Yang said.

Nicole Navarro is a teacher at the new campus and is encouraging her students to be open to new experiences.

“Just be yourself and be open to meeting new people and trying new things. And I think just putting yourself out there and getting to know people is really going to help that build that sense of community,” Navarro said.
