FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A new bag policy will be enforced at the Big Fresno Fair this year.
The fair announced Friday that it will be enforcing a clear bag policy.
Here’s what to know about the new policy:
- Bags must be clear and no larger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″
- Non-clear clutches of fanny packs are allowed if they’re 4.5″ x 6.5″ x 2 inches or smaller
- Exceptions: Diaper bags and medical equipment bags
- All bags are subject to inspection prior to entry
The fair said that this new policy will ensure a safe and speedy entry for all fairgoers.
In regards to the Youth showing livestock, the fair said that exhibitors will continue using the livestock entrance by the barns and that they will be able to bring their bags with supplies to care for their animals and garments for show days.
The fair also states that this new policy does not apply to the variety of events held at the fairgrounds. For more information on the policy, click here.
