A new medical practice has opened in North Fork. Veronica Tilden, DO, has moved into an office in the Community Development Council building on the former mill compound.

Veronica was born and raised here in North Fork. The daughter of Paul and Ann Tilden, she attended UC Davis and then Western University, where she received a degree in Osteopathic medicine. She opened her medical practice in 1997, and has practiced in Davis, CA, Nevada City, CA, and Hohenwald, TN.
Osteopathy is a whole-body medical approach. It focuses on how the different systems within the human body work together.
Dr. Veronica does not accept health insurance, as she prefers to work without the constraints of a corporation making medical decisions for her patients. Having always been in private practice, no “system” is limiting her options for helping people. She can offer safe and effective treatment and information for each situation. As a fully licensed physician, she can help you understand the diagnosis you have been given and the treatment the current medical system is offering you, or offer help from the very beginning and support you in maintaining or regaining vibrant health.
Dr. Veronica treats patients of all ages with a wide range of medical problems. She loves treating children and believes it is critical to help them have the best possible start in life. She helps couples with fertility problems and both men and women with hormonal issues, including puberty, menopause, erectile dysfunction, and more.
Dr. Veronica does not serve the role of a primary care physician in the current sense. She does not take insurance, does not write prescriptions, and does not make referrals to specialists.
