DOS PALOS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A woman was arrested and is being accused of stealing a Chevy truck in the community of Dos Palos, the police department said Tuesday.

Police said on Aug. 11, they conducted an investigation regarding a stolen truck in the 1900 block of Center Avenue.

The reporting parties said that the Chevy truck was parked on Center Avenue and was stolen during the night.

The next morning, an officer with the police department took the report and drove the surrounding areas of Dos Palos to locate the truck.

The officer did locate the truck near Elgin Avenue and Shain Avenue. When the officer located it, it was occupied by a woman and a man.

They were both detained and after further investigation, the woman whom police identified as Dominga Ruby Rios was taken into custody and is facing multiple charges.
