As of today, Highway 120 is closed between the Junction of SR 108 and the north Junction of SR 49 due to active wildfire activity. This closure impacts access to Yosemite National Park via Buck Meadows.

For visitors who plan on accessing lodging or businesses on Highway 120 in Buck Meadows or the Greely Hill or Foresta area, Highway 132 through Coulterville is a viable option.

Yosemite National Park remains open and accessible through the following routes:

  • Highway 132 through Modesto and Coulterville (Big Oak Flat)
  • Highway 140 via Mariposa (Arch Rock Entrance)
  • Highway 41 via Oakhurst (South Entrance)

The 6-5 Fire is currently estimated at 2,955 acres near the Highway 120/Highway 49 corridor in the Don Pedro area. Conditions remain active and are being closely monitored.
