REEDLEY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A 13-year-old girl has been arrested after police in Reedley say she threatened her school in a post on social media, which included a picture of the school at the center of the threat.

According to the Reedley Police Department, Immanuel High School was the school threatened in the social media post. An investigation identified a 13-year-old ninth-grade student who was taken into custody, accused of making criminal threats.

The girl who was arrested was not officially identified by the Reedley Police Department.

Officers add that there is no evidence of additional suspects, weapons, or ongoing threats to the school campus.
