20-year-olds arrested in deadly shooting in Visalia restaurant, police say

VISALIA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Two 20-year-olds were arrested in connection with a deadly shooting in Downtown Visalia, the Visalia Police Department announced Monday.

According to police, they responded to a reported shooting early Saturday morning at Sebby’s in Downtown Visalia, where they found multiple people who had been shot following a fight inside the restaurant.

Investigators report three people were transported to a local hospital, including a 22-year-old victim who died from his injuries.

Following an extensive investigation, detectives identified two suspects involved as two 20-year-olds, Eduardo Moreno Torres and Raymon Vasquez.

Officers report Torres was booked on a charge of attempted murder, and Vasquez will be booked on a charge of murder after he is medically cleared.

Visalia Police reassure the community that this shooting was an isolated incident and the involved suspects are in custody.
