North Fork, CA – Bass Fork Mini Mart has officially reopened the store. After the fire on July 9th which severely damaged the roof at the rear of the store, they were closed for business entirely for several days. They did begin selling gas before too long, but the store has remained closed.
They were allowed by the county to put up a temporary well which bisects the store, separating the damaged area from the usable area. They have a limited cooler section, but have resumed selling hot food, a small selection of snacks, and the usual selection of liquor and tobacco products.
Work will begin to repair the damaged portion of the building. Once complete they will then tear down the temporary wall and return to full operating capacity.
