OAKHURST, CA — A man was arrested in Oakhurst in connection to a reported sexual assault on Tuesday.

Madera County Sheriffs Deputies responded after an 18-year-old victim said she was sexually assaulted after meeting a man on the dating app Tinder.

Detectives took over the investigation and obtained search warrants that resulted in the arrest of 20-year-old Enrique Vasquez of Fowler.

The victim stated she was sexually assaulted more than once during their meeting.

Investigators believe there may be other victims in the Central Valley who have not yet come forward.
