Mariposa County Active Transportation Plan (ATP)

In September of 2024, the Mariposa County Board of Supervisors adopted the Active Transportation Plan (ATP), which was created within a partnership of the Planning Department, Public Works, and Local Transportation Commission (LTC). The ATP establishes a plan for making walking and biking safer, easier, and more enjoyable for the residents and visitors of Mariposa County. Further, the adoption of the ATP makes Mariposa County eligible for a broad range of funding to create new paths, sidewalks, bike lanes, and other improvements.
