MARIPOSA, CA – Established in 1984, Manna House of Mariposa has been dedicated to providing emergency food assistance to families in need throughout Mariposa County. Operated entirely by volunteers, the organization relies solely on the generosity of donors to fund its mission.

What to Expect When Visiting Manna House for Food Assistance

Upon entering Manna House, you’ll be welcomed by compassionate volunteers who view you as a neighbor. Understanding that seeking help can be challenging, they strive to make the process straightforward, welcoming, and free from judgment. As fellow community members, they will assist you with registration, guide you through the process, and ensure your family receives the necessary food to sustain you through the month.

Serving approximately 150 families each month, Manna House’s efforts are made possible through the compassion and generosity of the Mariposa community.

Typical Food Assistance Includes:
  • Cereal, rice, and pasta
  • Canned fruits, vegetables, beans, and soups
  • Bread and pantry staples
  • Fresh meat, dairy, and produce when available
  • Pet food, because our furry family members need love too

If you find yourself in need of food assistance, Manna House is here for you—whether you’ve fallen on hard times, lost a job, or are simply trying to make ends meet. There is no government red tape, no judgment, and no cost.
