When exactly is Target's Black Friday Sale?

This year, Black Friday takes place on Friday, Nov. 28, but Target's sale started long before that. Target's Black Friday sale officially runs from Sunday, Nov. 23 to Saturday, Nov. 29. However, Target will drop even more deals Nov. 27-29. After Black Friday wraps up, Cyber Monday starts on Sunday, Nov. 30 and runs through Monday, Dec. 1.

What times does Target open on Black Friday?

Target brought back the in-person shopping experience this Black Friday. All Target stores closed on Thanksgiving (Nov. 27) and reopened today. On Friday, Nov. 28, Target stores opened at 6 a.m. local time and will close at their regular time (typically 10 p.m.). It's best to check your local store's hours ahead of time.

Target made waking at the crack of dawn to shop worthwhile this year, as the first 100 guests in line on Black Friday received a limited-edition iridescent tote filled with giveaways. Among those 100 totes, 10 lucky shoppers got an extra surprise inside, ranging in value from $99 to $350. Surprise gifts include Target Circle 360 membership, $100 Target GiftCard, Laifen Hair Dryer, Ninja Slushie machine or Beats Solo 4 headphones.
