Dancers of all ages and abilities are welcome; no experience is necessary. Beginners can learn basic steps on the spot, while experienced dancers will enjoy practicing familiar moves in a friendly atmosphere. The hall invites attendees to dress comfortably or dress to the nines—either option suits the festive mood.

Refreshments will be available: snacks and drinks may be purchased during the evening, and organizers encourage bringing water bottles and wearing comfortable shoes appropriate for dancing.

The Community Dance is intended as a welcoming social occasion that strengthens local ties and supports the town’s volunteer network. Co-sponsorship by the North Fork Boosters helps keep the event affordable and accessible while promoting community involvement.

Mark your calendar also for the next community dance on December 26, 2025, and consider bringing friends and family to share the fun. Whether you come to learn, to practice, or simply to enjoy live music and company, the evening offers something for everyone.

Local organizers welcome volunteers to help with setup and cleanup; donations of baked goods or serving time are appreciated and help sustain the Booster-supported series. The dance has become a cornerstone of seasonal community life, offering intergenerational connection and a chance to create memories. Bring comfortable footwear and a ready smile!
