FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A “local favorite” received a $15,000 grant from the city of Fresno.
Mayor Jerry Dyer announced Monday that Yoshino Japanese Restaurant, which has been in business for nearly 45 years, received a grant from the energy efficiency program.
Dyer also said that the restaurant is “a local favorite.”
The grant will help fund new AC units, an upgraded venting system, and energy-efficient food service equipment, which Dyer says will help lower PG&E costs and support long-term sustainability.

The Energy Efficiency Program is a no-cost program that provides assessments for micro and small business customers.
