Woman seen taking packages from home near Christmas Tree Lane wanted

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office is asking for information after a woman was seen taking packages from the porch of a home in Fresno’s Old Fig Garden neighborhood.

The location is around 1,300 feet from Van Ness Boulevard, the home of the annual Christmas Tree Lane. Officials tell YourCentralValley.com that the home is close to the intersection of Wishon Avenue and Rialto Avenue.

In a video shared by the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office, the unidentified woman is seen avoiding the path to the front door and instead walking across the grass in front of the home. She stops outside the door to collect a pile of packages left there and runs back across the grass.

Deputies say the theft took place the day before Thanksgiving, on Nov. 26, at around 4:30 a.m.

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to contact the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office at 559-600-3111.
